HEAL (Health Education Assets
Library)(Free) HEAL's primary mission is to provide educators with high-quality and
free multimedia materials (such as images and videos) to augment health sciences
education. The current collection now consists of over 2,000 images, sounds,
and videos covering the areas of dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, neuroanatomy,
neurology, pathology, biochemistry, and cardiology.
images.MD images.MD compiles over 48,000 high-quality images spanning all of
internal medicine, all derived from Current Medicine’s renowned series of illustrated
atlases. Each image is accompanied by detailed and informative text written
by over 2,000 contributing experts.
MedPix™(Free) MedPix™ is a free online Medical Image Database, provided by
the Departments of Radiology and Biomedical Informatics, Uniformed Services
University, Bethesda, MD. All public content is peer-reviewed by an Editorial
Panel.
MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching)
(Free) MERLOT is a free
international cooperative for high quality online resources to improve learning
and teaching within higher education. Links to online multimedia learning
materials are collected here along with annotations such as peer reviews and
assignments. The Science and Technology section includes Biology and Health
Science materials.

Reproductive Physiology Animations - Reproductive Physiology Animations is a collection of learning modules on human reproduction from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Public Health Images Library

Created by a Working Group at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), PHILTM offers an organized, universal electronic gateway to
CDC's pictures. Public health professionals, the media, laboratory
scientists, educators, and the worldwide public are welcome to use this material
for reference, teaching, presentation, and public health messages. The content
is organized into hierarchical categories of people, places, and science, and is
presented as single images, image sets, and multimedia files.
