The Medical Center Distributive Learning Collaboratory (DLC) is a partnership of the Medical Center’s four colleges and AIT&L. The DLC develops common web-based courses shared by all the colleges and promotes collaboration across disciplines and colleges. The DLC functions as a bridge to connect faculty who are working and teaching in similar areas in an effort to share resources and expertise. The goal of the DLC is to promote a multidimensional view of education by drawing from the rich educational traditions of different disciplines and integrating them into new course designs and offerings. AIT&L provides the project management and infrastructure (servers, development software, and network) to faculty to develop Web-based courses that, when possible, have broad application throughout the Medical Center.
